Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to document over one hundred weddings and counting, from intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations, I have had the privilege to travel all over the world capturing love stories in many beautiful locations, stunning venues - or even just the local pub!

My approach to wedding videography is rooted in storytelling. I believe that every day has its own unique narrative and it's my mission to bring that story to life through moving image. I strive to create films that not only showcase the wedding day itself but also reflect the personalities, emotions, and unique dynamics of the couple and their loved ones.

My Approach

When it comes to capturing weddings, I'm in my element. I’m a big softy at heart who loves a party - and there’s just something that resonates with me when watching two people surrounded by their nearest and dearest, declare their love for each other and then wrap it all up with a huge celebration.

I understand the importance of preserving authenticity which is why I always strive to blend seamlessly into the background of your day, allowing you and your guests to enjoy every moment without feeling conscious of being filmed. By adopting this candid approach, I’m able to capture the raw emotions that often happen spontaneously, and it is my goal to preserve these fleeting instances so that you can cherish them forever.

I shoot with modern 4K cameras and the inspiration behind my work comes from classic movies rather than whatever is the latest trend. With this approach you can rest assured that the films you receive will stand the test of time and look as great in 50 years as they do now.

  • It's recommended to book a wedding videographer as soon as you finalise your wedding date and venue. Videographers are often booked 1-2 years in advance, so securing your date early is ideal.

  • I don’t have a set limit on hours, however I will typically arrive around 3 hours before the ceremony to capture those all-important getting ready moments, and stay up to 1 hour after the first dance ensuring I get plenty of the evening when everyone lets their hair down! Exact timings and duration of my coverage would always be discussed and confirmed with you before your wedding day, this allows us to tailor the coverage to your specific needs and ensure that all your important moments are captured.

  • The turnaround time for wedding videos is never more than 12 weeks after the wedding, although the exact time can vary depending on the time of year and the specifics of each wedding.

  • Yes, drone shots are included in the videography package and there’s nothing more I love than capturing some nice aerial shots of your venue! However, it's important to note that the availability of drone is subject to the location and weather conditions on the day. Safety and compliance with local regulations are top priorities, and in some cases (for example, if your venue is near an airport or it’s raining) drone shots may not be possible. We can discuss the specific details and any additional considerations regarding drone shots during our planning discussions.

  • I mostly work alone as a videographer as it allows me to maintain the highest quality and consistency across your wedding films (all of the films on my website were captured by just me!). Working alone also allows me to be more discreet and blend in seamlessly with the wedding, ensuring a comfortable and natural atmosphere for everyone involved. If necessary, I'm happy to split my morning to capture both the bride and groom getting ready and this is something we would discuss before your day.

  • Your wedding films will be delivered to you in two formats. First, you will receive an online gallery where you can easily view, download, and share your wedding films with family and friends. Additionally, for safekeeping a hard copy of your films will be provided on USB stick (I know these are getting pretty dated now but I love the idea of you having a tangible copy to keep in your wedding box once the dust has settled!).

I take on a maximum of 30 weddings per year to ensure the couples I work are always receiving the best experience possible. If you are considering me to capture your wedding please do not hesitate to get in touch as dates are often taken 1-2 years in advance.
